We saw that WHAT WAS MISSING in the coaching industry was that NO ONE (at that time) was talking about healing Pornography addiction or betrayal recovery as a Couple who wanted to end it AND STAY together!! And as we have continued to browse this industry, we found that the tools used were weak and unreliable. And not only that, but the HIGH TICKET PRICES...were ASTRONOMICAL!!!! In a society that is filled with broken families and traumatic memories, we are filled with a culture of people who go on to become unable to function optimally, and either self-sabotage or pass on the same cycle to the next generation. In this economy, the majority of people are struggling with financial limitations, but they are hurting in their home. We saw this and wanted to create a program that could help, but also be affordable, so that MORE people could learn what it takes to transform. I would rather work toward helping solve this societal dilemma by making a little with thousands than a lot with only a few.
I believe that by keeping this a low-cost membership, I would be able to reach MORE people, but provide a rich experience that changes the way we see ourselves. Because that's what it comes back to.

How is Armor Your Castle Different?
I've tried things before...it hasn't worked...
Armor Your Castle is a faith-based system that works under the understanding that everything in our life that is out of balance is happening because of an “alignment” problem. We can see that when the head, heart, mind, body, and spirit are in conflict, the friction often leads us to find the path of least resistance (that which is most familiar), which often creates a different kind of resistance. The body stores emotions and programs from memories, convictions, and expectations that drive our decisions and automatic responses. These reside in various body organs and parts! It’s not just about mindset or the subconscious!
This concept is proven by the example of organ recipients who received an organ from a donor who once had a favorite food, memory, habit, or preference that is now showing up in the recipient, which had not been present before the surgery! Memory is encoded into our very cells, not just in the brain! The body has its own autopilot driving system that goes toward what is familiar, comfortable, exciting, pleasurable, or known. It tends to avoid what is unknown, confusing, new, or uncomfortable (unless it is familiar).
When the body is doing the driving subconsciously, we have to disrupt the pattern to change it. This brings up unfamiliar discomfort or old triggers that we usually run from. We help you to find deeper awareness as to why you are going back to the pain you want to avoid, but beyond this, we have the ability to NEUTRALIZE the push and the pull using somatic body work, and get you to a state of full agency. We also believe that a united, combined team effort will add power to shifting the intended result. We recognize that the connection is, in and of itself, healing or damaging.
Other systems look at root cause, but don’t have a real process to neutralize it. We have a system with over 50 tools to process, neutralize, alter, and shift the mind and body, and thus shift the results and presenting consequences.
We start with the understanding that life is pain. And we expect you to eventually become comfortable, learn to sit with it, and make friends with it! We recognize that the point of power is in the pain. And learning to stop running from it. Triggers will become your best friends!

(For the Betrayed)
The day you learn that you have been betrayed (again) is one of the most painful experiences you will ever feel. It’s like life is sucking out of you. The hole in your chest is like a palpable knife…or worse, a shovel in your gut twisting while you feel like your spirit is thrust out of your body, partially floating above you. The sound that escapes from your mouth as the crying starts…that wail…”Is that actually me”? The crushing weight…the burning in the eyes and heart; it really is as if an audible rip is tearing through your body. Your ears are ringing as if there was an explosion nearby…oh yeah…it’s the heart you once had. The ability to stand suddenly feels impossible. You have to walk up the stairs…but your legs are shaking. And the world is spinning. There he is…And you now have to look at him? NOW? And let him touch you? It’s hard to tell which is worse, the sadness or the anger. Or the smile you have to fake as you go back to reality tomorrow. You have to hold it together for your kids, for the work you have to do in the morning, the people you have to talk to all day, for the driving you have to do when sleep isn’t possible.
Your face- how is your face going to look when you go to work, to church…OH HELL, the people at church…GOD!! WHERE IS GOD!!! How could he let this happen?? WHO is this man I thought I knew…THE WHOLE TIME…ALL THE YEARS, all the emails, the accounts, THIS is why he has been gone: busy, isolated in his room, THE LONG TRIPS TO THE BATHROOM! All this time I thought he was fine, that it had stopped, that it was over, that he was clean, we were finally good. It was a lie. HE had been lying to me, hiding it all from me. If he hid this, what else was he hiding? The images I saw are BURNED INTO MY BRAIN…The stories I imagine, the hundreds of emails for months, even if he did reject meetups or paying, the pain that it went on this long without ever coming clean.
The anger now sets in, the raging hot anger… suddenly smashing every picture in the house feels like a good idea…Now I want to hurt him back. Hurt him... the way he hurt me…NO, that’s not me, BUT it CAN BE NOW! I hate this. I hate him. I hate his schedule, his job, his hobbies, his lack of effort, everything I wished and dreamed…had he never cared about any of it!!

The day you realize you have been not only hurting yourself, but hurting the one person you love more than anything because you can’t stop…No matter how much you tried, or how many times you ended it, you keep finding yourself back at the screens, the accounts, maybe even the chats, or more.) That moment when she finds out, the crushing look on her face, the fire and hatred in her eyes…how she looks at you now that she knows. Your entire heart drops to the floor. Your mouth goes dry…The screaming starts…the yelling, the anger in her eyes…and you want to run, to hide, to break something, to rage back at all the unfairness and the stress that has been building up, all the failure, all the responsibilities that you never got to. The hole in the pit of your gut, the attempt to reach out as she backs away, repulsed. You are repulsive now to her.

She can’t see the pain you actually feel. All she can feel is hers. And you aren’t sure if you really can feel anymore either. But here we are…she wants to leave? The thought of her gone, mind is spinning, the future suddenly feels black…cold. You felt alone before, but now…you are standing there but feel miles away. What do you do, beg? Apologize? What good will that do? Did what I did actually mean…cheating?
Oh God…What have I done? The wasted years, the time spent chasing a feeling that overwhelmed my body, because I lost the ability to feel anything else and forgot what it felt like to feel, and it became a need somehow... I kept hearing the lies: I am in control; I can stop…tomorrow. But then the memory of the stupid choices, the procrastination, the denial, the stupid... stupid lies... like…I already went this far; I might as well…If I never say anything, she won’t know. She doesn’t need to know. I don’t really need to get help. This is under control. I can just stop when I’m ready. It’s not really that bad, is it… Oh… yeah, it is…But NOW, she KNOWS..she saw…oh did she see what I looked at? What I said? The accounts…did I erase the history…NO DAMN IT, STOP! They will know it all now. How will they see him if people know? And they will judge me for staying… They will judge him and know I stayed. Therapy- what good will that do? More talking about the pain, nothing to tell us how to fix this for real, and what if they tell me I need to move on? What if I have to? I can’t ever do this again…This hurts too much!! I can’t be his mother, I can’t be his wife, I can’t bring myself to- oh… ick…the sick feeling in my stomach at the thought of …intimacy… wants to make me puke, and the images won’t leave my brain! They will judge ME for what I’ve done. Therapy? The last time we saw a therapist, I felt like garbage…It didn’t help anything. It just ripped us apart. Now the bishop will know, and who else will know? How will they look at me? She is going to treat me like a child now. I want to feel again, but then I have to feel again. But I want to show her... how can I show her I can be better? How can I prove it now? I have to make her stay…What if she leaves and we have to be apart? I would want to provide, but how? I can barely pay for the home we’re in! Everything I missed, all the time I wasted, I could have sold all the projects I should have been working on…I would have been so much further along if only…I could control myself. Who am I?
THIS was OUR story.
For more than 18 years, Bob struggled and hid it. Heather found out in 2008, pregnant with her 3rd, and then in 2023, Discovery day…She found out that not only was it still going on, but it had escalated to emails, chat rooms, and even a paid-for meetup that thankfully didn’t happen. I went on a business trip for 3 days, which gave us some separation and time to think.
Heather talked with her old friend and second mom by Proxy, Sherry, who reminded her that Bob, was a Son of God and that Heather was also a Daughter of God. And that they came to this world to experience adversity, and that they started this marriage to come home to Our Heavenly Father, TOGETHER. Heather was reminded that she is his helpmeet. They covenanted to help one another in sickness and in health, and right then, they were in sickness. Bob was sick. And he needed help. She needed help, but She had been taught and given gifts and skills that could heal him, and then …heal herself.
We looked for help with this. We tried to find someone who had been through this already and knew what to do. My Coach had, and he resolved it. But how did they do this as a couple, though? They never mentioned that part! We talked to a healer friend who had divorced her husband for the same thing. She just shamed Bob worse and made demands that were impossible for him to consider.
But whoever we did find cost more than we could afford; we could barely pay the mortgage or utilities without help. Because there were programs out there, but they were only for the addict, or only for the betrayed…trying to handle ending it. But for those who wanted to fix this? And stick it out?
We would have paid anything if we could have. But we had only recently barely gotten off of food stamps. We needed to heal, but we needed to survive.
We were reminded that we had been learning from resources for years, enough that we realized we could do this together. We reached out to my old coach and had some conversations that helped us see that this time…THIS TIME we DID have the tools we were looking for. We had to piece together support from every course and certification we had studied over the last 2 decades.
THIS TIME we had learned how to heal through tools and skills that could bring us back to alignment and connection. And because we knew THIS time what was possible, we went to work TOGETHER.
